Charlton Will Treat The Spurs Match Like A Home Game
Charlton boss Les Reed has decided to treat their away match at Spurs the same as if it's a home game .
Reed is quoted as saying:
"We've got a pretty good record at Tottenham and because it's only up the road I'm going to try and treat it like a home game. We're not doing anything different in terms of travel that we wouldn't do for a normal home game, and I'm hoping it will give the players a chance to relax and focus on the game, instead of spending time in a hotel".
He goes on to add "Our home form is very important to us".
There's just one, minor, teeny-weeny, little problem with treating the match as a 'home' game. Charlton's home form is as bad as their away form. Even if every match they had played this season had been at home, they would still be in the relegation places.
Keep on, keeping on, Mr Reed.
