John Terry...What An Arse

So...this is what happened. John Terry got himself knocked unconscious after taking a boot to the face in the Carling Cup Final. The Arsenal physio Gary Lewin had to adminster oxygen, his head and neck had to be strapped as he was removed from the field on a stretcher.

Two hours later, he checked himself out of hospital to go party with his team mates after their 2-1 victory.

And even better, no less a person that England manager Steve McClaren hails Terry's 'courage' in doing so, saying : "This shows the kind of person JT is.

"It did not surprise me that after having the scan he recovered and was out of hospital and celebrating with his team".

Um, that's nice. Congratulating someone who had sustained a serious head injury for leaving hospital before he should have. Is it only me who thinks that John Terry has proven himself to be an arse by doing this.

People die from concussion. It can happen days after the initial impact and Terry himself should have been aware of that. But no, he's too much of a lad...he's 'ard, you see, he's tough, he isn't going to let brain damage stand in the way of having a good time.
