The Dangers of Celery

Um...celery. Tasteless. Vegetable. Kind of watery and crunchy at the same time. And, of course, a criminal offence when thrown. Seriously.

Fans of Chelsea FC have been warned - on the official Chelsea website - that "The throwing of anything at a football match, including celery, is a criminal offence for which you can be arrested and end up with a criminal record," .

Apparently there has been a spate of, um, celery tossing at Chelsea games recently and now even taking celery into the ground has been banned.

You really can't make this stuff up.
