Spurs’ Bentley on Drink Drive Charge

Tottenham midfielder David Bentley has apologised to the club after it was revealed he had been arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
The incident occurred early on Thursday morning after Bentley’s car was involved in a collision with a lamp post.
A spokeswoman for Hertfordshire police said :

Hunt Joins Hull City On Four Year Deal

Reading winger Stephen Hunt has joined Hull City on a four year contract.
The transfer fee has not been disclosed but Reading themselves described the move as “good for all three parties”, thanking the player for giving “great value” in his time at the club.

Bolton Wanderers defender Gary Cahill has signed a three year extension to his current deal, keeping him at the club until the summer of 2012.
