Woodgate Suffers Injury Setback

Tottenham Hotspur central defender Jonathan Woodgate has suffered a fresh setback in his bid to return from a longstanding groin injury.
Woodgate hasn’t played for Spurs this season and Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp confirmed :
“Woodgate’s nowhere near playing again.”

Latest Premiership Transfer Speculation

Following the clash between Aston Villa’s Nigel Reo-Coker and boss Martin O’Neill, the Daily Star is reporting that Reo-Coker’s Villa career could be over. The small size of the Villa squad would suggest otherwise, though.

FA To Investigate Bellamy and Diouf Incidents

The Football Association have launched investigations into an alleged clash between a fan and Craig Bellamy at the end of the Manchester derby.
They will also be probing a confrontation between Blackburn forward El Hadj Diouf and an Everton ball boy.

Bassong Injury Not As Bad As Feared

Tottenham central defender Sebastien Bassong has been given the all clear by a specialist head and neck doctor, after being substituted with injury during Spurs’ 3-0 defeat at the hands of Chelsea.
A spokesman for the North London club commented :
