Martinez Charged With Improper Conduct

The FA have charged Wigan boss Roberto Martinez with improper conduct after comments about referee Stuart Attwell.
Martinez accused the referee of “lying” following the sending off of Wigan’s Gary Caldwell for a challenge on Carlos Tevez.
Martinez defended Caldwell’s challenge, saying :

Burnley Player Fined For Going To Pub

Burnley manager Brian Laws has fined midfielder Kevin MacDonald after the player went to the pub having been substituted at half time during Burnley’s 6-1 defeat by Manchester City.
